Bulletin Board

A book signing was held for Terri Lacher, local writer, columnist and LAAL Director, at the Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library, 619 Tenaha Street, Center, Texas on Tuesday, May 4, 2010.  Terri's recent publication is featured in Chicken Soup for the Soul, Thanks Mom, which was released in March this year.  She also had a publication to appear in Chicken Soup of the Soul, What I Learned from the Dog, released in September 2009.

Awards were presented at the Annual Membership Meeting held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 by Karen Thompson, outgoing LAAL President to Murray and Quincy Borders for Volunteers of the Year 2010 and Delbert Beckham for Artist of the Year 2010.  Congratulations and best wishes to Delbert, Murray and Quincy!
